Have you ever thought that a book could last forever, or it grants your wishes. The Never Ending Story is about a child named Sebastian was running away from a couple of bullies when he stumbled into a book story. He saw an old man reading a book and he said to get out. Then they started to talk about books and then the phone rang. Sebastian asked what book he was reading but he said he wouldn’t understand so when he answered the phone, Sebastian stole the book and ran out. Sebastian doesn’t know what he is getting into.
Sebastian went to school and saw that they were taking a math test. He didn’t know what to do so he ran up the attic. He began to read the “The Never Ending Story” on an old mate. What Sebastian doesn’t know that the book is based off of his imagination? On every page he read, the things that he was thinking in his head was going onto the book. There was an Indian on Sebastian’s book bag. The Indians name was Atreyu, and he was put into the book.
After reading the book for awhile now, the bell rings and school is over. Sebastian didn’t leave and decided to stay and read the book. He knows that the bullies would be waiting outside for him. He ended up stay at the school and read the book some more. Sebastian fell asleep thinking about the book, then the window busted open and rain was coming in. Sebastian jumped in there air and closed the window. After that, he began to read the book again.
In the story the nothing was coming closer and closer to the town. Atreyu couldn’t do anything and he failed. Atreyu went to the emperor on Falkor to talk to her. She was talking about Sebastian, how he was following Atreyu the whole time he was on his mission. The only way for Fantacha to rebuild was for Sebastian to give a name for the emperor. Sebastian picked the name of his mom how died. When he named her, he got a grain of sand and had as many wishes as he could.
Sebastian loved to read books and The Never Ending Story was probable the best one he has ever read. He got all of the wishes he ever wanted. I had as many wishes as he did, I would wish for my mom back. At the end of the story it said that Sebastian had a whole bunch of wishes, but it was a different story.
